Are you looking for a primer for damp substrates and sheet metal? Our solvent-free, odourless KEMCO POX 2K is a 2-component special primer based on epoxy resin which can be used on damp substrates with a residual moisture of up to 20%.

Tip: KEMCO POX 2K is also the right choice for stainless steel, aluminium, structural steel and tinplate.

Application areas
As a primer for dry and damp ceramic and mineral substrates as well as for stainless steel, aluminium, structural steel and tinplate for new buildings and repair work. Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications as well as a filling compound in combination with KEMCO FL Special Filler.

Properties
At +23°C and max. 50% rel. humidity:  

• workability time approx. 45 minutes
• can be walked on after approx. 12 hours
• can receive the next coat after approx. 12 hours

Consumption
Depending on the absorbency of the substrate: approx. 250 to 400 g/m² (if necessary, apply in several steps).
